Full Job Description Mortage Product and Pricing Manager

Job Description
We are looking for an individual to manage all aspect of product development and pricing for the residential mortgage business of the Private Bank and Private Client Services. This position requires a breadth of understanding of the mortgage business including but not limited to product and pricing, strategic product placement, risk and delivery issues. This is a new role, based in New York. The position will report to the Head of the Banking Practice.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the individual cover all aspects of creating and maintaining a portfolio of residential mortgage products for HNW and UHNW clients. This will entail the following:

� Developing and maintaining a portfolio of residential mortgage products that meets the needs of our clients
� Creating product pricing strategies to improve penetration of our client base while profitably growing the business
� As co-chair of pricing committee with Asset and Liability Manager, implement the pricing strategy, taking account of financial market conditions and competitor actions
� Understanding the competitive landscape and ensuring progress is met against reaching/exceeding industry standards
� Working with the Asset and Liability Manager to ensure that interest rate and prepayment risks from all loan production are managed properly
� Leveraging capabilities of other partners in the firm (primarily Chase Home Lending), including new product development efforts to improve product capabilities
� Work with Product and Platform partners to ensure flawless delivery and a high level of service through the development and leverage of technology and infrastructure capabilities within line of business (LOB) and with other LOB partners
� Partner with marketer colleagues to understand client needs, including potential new product or service offering, and to promote our capabilities
� Communicate product capabilities, give market updates and provide expertise in internal forums.
Experience
� BA degree; MBA preferred
� 5+ years mortgage industry experience, with strong product and market expertise
� Knowledge of wealth mgmt market and needs of HNW and UHNW clients
� Ability to think strategically and implement/execute plans
� Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills, able to partner within and across organizational boundaries
� Strong written and oral communication ability
